On the first weekend of September 2025, hundreds of hiking fans are once again invited to lace up their hiking boots and take on the autumnal (long-distance) hiking challenge through the golden Mulde Valley near Leipzig. Highlights of the 4 unguided tours, ranging from 21 km to 66 km in length, are the numerous picturesque quarries around Beucha and Ammelshain - witnesses to a rich cultural landscape full of history and nature. All those who are looking for a special sporting challenge can put themselves to the test in speed hiking with professional timekeeping. An additional range of family-friendly, guided themed hikes around Grimma make the hiking event a wonderful weekend for the whole family.

The focus of the Sparkassen-HikeDeLuxe 2025 will be on sustainability.
