As the winner of the German Pop Award 2024, newcomer Sophia Wolz stands for the combination of tender soul ballads and hooky pop riffs. The singer and music teacher has been presenting her own music since 2022, and her debut album "About Life" was released in 2025. The melancholic, experimental and poetic compositions, performed on electric piano (Sophia Wolz) and drums (Carolin Bahr) with different sounds, take the listener on an intimate and dreamy journey of their own human development. "It's time to stop putting things off. Dreams should be lived. Because life is change. We should familiarize ourselves with that," says Sophia.
