On this evening, Nora Thiele invites you into her very own sound cosmos and on a sound journey. Nora Thiele plays on her unique solo set-up, which combines piano, percussion, voice, electronics and loops. Many of the pieces are improvised in the moment and develop in the now. Nora Thiele is a master of hand drums from different cultures and combines western classical music and jazz with elements of non-European music cultures in her music. From meditative to rhythmically powerful, her music takes the audience on a journey. Fine virtuosity, electronic ambient sounds and modern, organic beats dissolve the sense of time and radiate intensity, uniqueness and freshness.
