Songs improvisieren – Workshop mit Jakob Nacken

In the organizer's words:

You play improv theater and want to sing, but somehow you have the feeling that you could use more tools?
Then this workshop is the right place for you.
When spontaneously inventing songs, many things come together: the musical level, the emotional level, the textual level and the performative level. And at best, it all effortlessly forms a unit and all you have to do is sing the song that is already in the air, immerse yourself in the music and live the magic of the moment as intensely as is only possible with music.
Or else you're stuck, can't find the cue or the rhythm and just wish it would be over soon.
We usually find ourselves somewhere in between when it comes to musical improvisation. But in the end, there's a lot less that can go wrong with singing than you might think.
In this workshop you can expand your musical comfort zone and try out new techniques and skills.
We'll look at song structures and different musical styles, always with the aim of helping you move more confidently and confidently through your musical improv numbers.
In concrete terms, this means that we will sing a lot, together, as a duet but also solo, with lyrics, without lyrics but always with full dedication and the desire to fail!
