Muses or doers? Women of the Dahlem Research Campus

presents the lives of female researchers and shows how quickly women have conquered their place in the world of science, which has been dominated by men for centuries.

Physicist Lise Meitner is Dahlem's most prominent female researcher, but lesser-known women also left a lasting mark on the campus, including Elisabeth Schiemann, who carried out groundbreaking work in plant genetics, resisted National Socialism and helped Jewish people escape persecution.
