After the successful Palatinate film (also in our Summer Cinema Open Air of 2022), the second part is almost inevitable: While in the first film the American Douglas Madenford traveled from Pennsylvania to the Palatinate to research the origin of the German dialect "Pennsylvania Dutch", the Fußgönheim dialect singer Monji El Beji now travels to the US area, where 500,000 Americans speak Palatinate as descendants of southern German emigrants. Dialect, music and folding bike - even though Monji hardly speaks any English, communication works... Local history, language and customs packed into a highly entertaining and funny movie!
