With their acclaimed albums "MMX" and "Mudbox" as well as the EP "Getting Dirty", the Cologne band have proven that they can recharge the sound of the 90s with fresh, modern elements and develop it further independently.

The sound of the Cologne-based post-rock/metal band Halcyon Waves, founded in 2022, ranges from harmonious and floating to brute and complex and draws on the tension between dynamics and melodies. The songs are well thought-out and unconventional, but still leave the listener room for emotions and head cinema. Attempts are made to transcend genre-typical post-rock dynamics.
