Skalinka is pulsating life energy turned into music: in seventeen years of band history and over 200 concerts, the group has developed its intense live performance. With an unmistakable style that transcends genres, Skalinka whips the audience into a frenzy that entices them to dance. A crazy piano plays around the singer's melodies, while the brass section and rhythm section mercilessly drive the audience forward with a rich sound and powerful beats. The group received the Creole World Music Prize Bremen & Lower Saxony for their charming, rousing and absolutely danceable sound and have been touring throughout Germany ever since.
