Since 2000, Guacamole Aquí has been playing a unique blend of cumbia, salsa, mambo and ska - always with its own twist. The band combines the traditional rhythms of Latin American music with a pinch of funk music and a Nordic flair, which makes their sound fresh and danceable.
With a powerful horn section and pulsating percussion beats, the band creates a musical atmosphere that is both familiar and surprising. Their interpretations of classic Latin sounds, complemented by their own funky compositions, bring both the energy of Cuba and Mexico and a modern groove to the stage.

RUMBA SANTA
active since 2010, is a Latin-Ska-Punk band from Kiel. The band brings together musicians from various countries, including Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, Ghana, Turkey, Ukraine, and Schleswig-Holstein. Their passionate mix of ska, punk, rock, and Latin American flair creates captivating dance orgies. The rap-inspired vocals merge with catchy rhythms and melodies. Their lyrics address topics such as poverty, social injustice, migration, friendship, and heartbreak. Their cultural diversity and energy are reflected in their concerts and albums, including "Ciudad Sin Ley" (2014) and "Nuevo Barrio" (2018), as well as the single "Super Héroe" released in 2023.

MONO ROOT
Since 2022, four musicians from Bremen have been combining driving basslines with screeching organs to create an exciting and danceable musical mix. Distorted guitar riffs meet folky-melodic songs and funky beats mix with harder rock passages. All these elements are embedded in a solid foundation of catchy reggae songs that not only genre fans can enjoy.

Jonas (vocals, keyboards) and Claudius (drums) have been active together in various bands for two decades and are therefore a well-rehearsed team. With Roger on bass and Sam on guitar, who also share a common musical background, Monoroot have formed a harmonious symbiosis. The band members are connected by their musical roots, which have grown in new directions time and again, yet still belong to the same tribe.

The band Los Conocidos from Kiel inspires with their energetic reggae music.
With violin, melodica and Latin, ska and Balkan influences, the six musicians from Africa, Europe, Central and South America create a unique sound and a rousing performance. True to the motto Dance Dance, the groovy vibes are bound to put you in a good mood.
