The three teenage friends Jamila, Rachel and Faseeha are part of the rap project "Sisterqueens" in Berlin's Wedding district. Under the guidance of established female rappers, they learn to question social norms, denounce injustice and celebrate themselves.

The observational documentary (premiered at the last DOK) follows the three girls over several years as they take their first steps as young, self-confident women and artists who, not least, defy gender clichés in rap. Despite their young age, they face the diverse challenges of our world in such a clever, witty and reflective way that everyone can learn from them.
