Sindbads Abenteuer

Sinbad stands in front of the palace gate every day and recounts the adventures of his late father, Sinbad the Sailor. But people don't believe his stories. Only one person wants to believe him: Princess Alisha, the Sultan's daughter. Her father has not returned from a sea voyage. Her uncle Djamal has now declared him dead and ascended the throne himself. Djamal has had the captain of the ship thrown into prison. The captain knows the truth: that the Sultan is being held captive by a giant bird called Roch, who wants to feed him to his young as soon as it hatches. Sinbad's father escaped from the bird, and the princess now wants to know how she can save her father. Alisha and Sinbad first free the captain and then set off on the journey as described by Sinbad the Sailor. They come across an island, but it is a giant fish, arrive at the Glass City with its invisible inhabitants and meet the old, wise Hakim, who shows them how to outwit the giant bird. Finally, they reach the bird Roch. The Sultan is still alive - but have Sinbad and Alisha been paying attention and can they save the Sultan?
