Silent Book Club

In the organizer's words:

For the "Long Night of Libraries", the Wandsbek Book Hall is launching the Silent Book Club. The focus of this event is on cozy get-togethers and reading. At the "Silent Book Club", you can bring a book that you are currently reading. Or you can spontaneously choose one of the 33,000 titles in our collection. Whether novel, non-fiction book or comic - anything is possible.

At the beginning of the evening, all participants present the book they would like to read. We then read in silence for an hour. Afterwards, we have an informal discussion about the books we have read. If you don't want to do this, you can simply continue reading during this time.
