Zara Zerbe, born in 1989 in Hamburg-Harburg, studied literature and media studies and lives as a freelance author in Kiel. She is co-editor of the literary magazine "Der Schnipsel" and hosts the podcast "Literarisch, Solidarisch" together with Hatice Acikgöz, Dara Brexendorf and Maline Kotetzki. Her debut novel "Phytopia Plus" was published by Verbrecher Verlag in March 2024.

Josefine Rieks, born in Höxter in 1988, is a German writer and has lived in Vienna for several years. Her first novel "Serverland" (2018) led to both enthusiastic and irritated reactions in the German-language feature pages. It was translated into Spanish. "Der Naturbursche" appeared in 2022 as the first novel to be published by Neukölln-based XS-Verlag.

Nina Bußmann, born in 1980, studied literature and philosophy. In addition to various bread-and-butter jobs, she mainly writes prose and radio plays. Most recently published: "Dickicht" (novel, 2020) and "Das Brechen der Brote" (radio play, 2023). She lives in Berlin.

Matthias Senkel was born in 1977. His debut novel "Frühe Vögel" (2012) was followed by "Dunkle Zahlen" (2018) and the short story collection "Winkel der Welt" (2021).
