In the organizer's words:

"Nobody can see through that!" - the two puppeteers come to this realization even when their performance of "As You Like It" has only been running for a few minutes. So they use miniature doppelganger figures to vividly explain who is actually related to whom, who has banished whom and who from which of the two courts has gotten mixed up with whom in the Arden Forest.

And that's where they all meet! Rosalind, disguised as a man, does not reveal herself to her beloved Orlando, but plays with him to test his love for her. Her cousin Celia, who has fled with her, falls in love with Oliver, who in turn is saved from a lion by his enemy brother Orlando and thus gives up his hatred. The accompanying jester Probstein falls in love with the goatherd Käthe and the shepherdess Phöbe finally listens to the shepherd Silvius' declarations of love after she is forced to realize that Ganymede, to whom she has given her heart, is not a man but Rosalind in disguise.

The "edgy guys" by Nuremberg artist Hardy Kaiser, made from old telegraph poles, serve as the figures for the salt and pepper ensemble. They are the ideal tools for exploring the truths of love and untangling the confusion. And in the end, you can see through it all and despite all the hostilities, the play resolves itself into more than a happy ending in the idyllic forest, because after all, there are four weddings and no deaths.
