About the play

The cinematic portrait of the bremer shakespeare company is a successful mixture of live-action film and witty animations, present and past, embedded in a film experience with beloved and not yet forgotten cinema rituals.
Documentary scenes from everyday life in the theater and interviews with founders, employees, ensemble and companions cover a broad arc from the founding to the outlook for the future. And the spirit of the Elizabethan bard hovers over everything.
