Sean Koch is an indie folk artist living in Cape Town. In his storytelling, feel-good music, he combines African and Western influences with messages of home, connection to nature, the sea and the people around him.

Although he is rooted in his sustaining folk style, his music is diverse. From danceable songs like "Lift You Up" to dreamier tracks like "Feel the Energy", which carries deeper messages of connection to the natural world and the people around us. There is something for everyone in Sean's repertoire.

On stage Sean has supported acts such as Xavier Rudd (AUS), Milky Chance (DE), Sticky Fingers (AUS), Will & the People (UK), A-ha (Norway) and Mat McHugh / Beautiful Girls (AUS) and performed at renowned festivals such as Reeperbahn Festival (DE), Sziget (HG), Pangea (DE), Sound of the Forest (DE).

Sean has built a strong following in Europe, especially in the German speaking regions. In October 2024, he completed his seventh European tour with his bandmates Adrian Fowler, Ross Hillier and Dean Bailey, which included several sold-out gigs.
