London-based indie pop band Sea Girls released their third album "Midnight Butterflies" in June and have taken their music to a new level. The tracks sound even tighter and more direct than they already do and are concentrated melodic joy and pop perfection in twelve parts.
The lead single "Weekend And Workdays" from September already contains one of their strongest choruses, and the pre-released "I Want You To Know Me" also shines with a perfect pop hook, positive lyrics and this great yet catchy melody. This carefree attitude continues throughout the album. The songs embrace the exhilaration of life, and that we need to be smart enough to recognize and appreciate it, says Sea Girls frontman Henry Camamile: "A lot of the record is about being in the moment and trying to escape the everyday. And we've really let off steam here."
