Schubertiade Festival
The Schubertiade will be a glittering music festival in the Silbersaal, providing the ideal backdrop for romantic salon evenings. At the heart of the festival are the works of Franz Schubert, which come together in renowned ensembles and colorful formations such as Lied duo, string quartet, piano quintet and chamber choir to create lively themed evenings.
The trout
Julia Sturzlbaum opens the Schubertiade in a lively, feminine and Viennese style with songs about love from a female perspective. With "Die Männer sind mechant", "Lachen und Weinen" and "Die Forelle", she relives the joys and sorrows of men. The famous trout quintet is a fitting instrumental counterpart.

Winter Journey
Franz Schubert described his work as a circle of "eerily beautiful songs", the groundbreaking success of which he himself did not live to see. In the Silbersaal, these 24 songs will receive another world premiere in an arrangement specially made for the Silbersaal by Maharani Chakrabarti and Andreas Höricht. The expressive baritone Wolfgang Resch will be accompanied by piano, string quartet and choir, opening up completely new facets of the well-known work and turning it into a captivating synaesthetic experience.
