Writing workshop with Shafia Khawaja

Friday, Feb. 14, 12-5 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 15, & Sunday, Feb. 16, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

This writing workshop is aimed at FLINTA* people who would like to engage creatively and critically with the reinterpretation of caricatures. Together with the workshop leader, poetry slammer and journalist Shafia Khawaja, you will develop texts in a three-day workshop, which will then be presented in the Szenenwechsel exhibition at the TMD from the end of April. You will first be introduced to the basics of writing humorous texts. Building on this, you will work with theater caricatures from the TMD's collection and write new texts for them. In addition, these texts will be presented at the Schnickschnack Poetry Slam of the Musenkollektiv. No previous knowledge of writing, poetry slam or performance is required. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
