Paving the way for a new society:
A city, an era is always shaped by people. To this day, the contribution of women often receives (too) little attention. The exhibition pays tribute to the achievements of women in the post-war situation in Munich using the example of ten female politicians, cultural workers, displaced persons and victims of persecution under the Nazi regime.
Curator Adelheid Schmidt-Thomé will give an introduction to the exhibition on Wednesday, February 12 at 4 pm.

In May 1945, the end of the Second World War set a new course in politics and society that still influences the way we live together today. The program "1945-2025 Zero Hour? How we became what we are." of the Munich Cultural Department would like to commemorate this with an extensive program of events.
