Sax Royal - Die Dresdner Lesebühne

This time, the Sax Royal reading stage show will take place quite late in the month on Wednesday, March 26. All the more time for the regulars to sprout new stories, poems and songs in the budding spring and write them down in their notebooks and folding calculators. As always, they address major world events as well as the small catastrophes and moments of happiness in everyday life with wit and poetry. They are joined by: Columnist and satirist Michael Bittner, who will bring along his new book "Germans in the Wind", novelist and poet Roman Israel, who will tell us about his new adventures as a language teacher, cheerful storyteller Max Rademann, who will keep us up to date with the latest news from the Ore Mountains, and poet Gesine Schäfer, who has dedicated herself to uncovering the similarities between the animal and human worlds.

As always, the reading stage also welcomes a star guest: this time it's Ivo Smolak. Ivo is an entertainer, singer and lyricist from the Uckermark. He is a member of the famous Berlin reading stage "LSD - Liebe Statt Drogen" and presents a new song there almost every Tuesday. As an entertainer with a pop star attitude, he cultivates his hip swing with a voice that helped him earn the stage name "Ivo Lotion". With his band "Ivo Lotion & die Mariachis", he formed the show band at the WDR Poetry Slam and released the single "Eisenhüttenstadt". He recently founded "Ehms Enkel", the first reading stage in Angermünde.
