While the rest of Dresden is poisoning itself with nasty alcohol in December, the Sax Royal reading stage will be providing fun without remorse on December 4. Regulars Michael Bittner, Roman Israel, Max Rademann and Gesine Schäfer will be bringing new stories, poems and songs to the stage at the end of the year, which are guaranteed not to make you feel any false contemplation. Satirical sharpness and poetic subtlety blend to create an inimitable flavor that has nothing in common with the tastelessness of standard comedy. An evening for anyone who doesn't want to switch off their brain to laugh.
The reading stage has also invited Piet Weber as a guest for the first time. Piet was born on a Sunday in November 1986 in Berlin, which led to a big "hurrah". He completed his childhood and school years without any major incidents and then studied something to do with media and journalism. Since 2014, he has been traveling the German-speaking world as a poetry slammer and reading stage author. In his texts, the author often takes a satirical look at social and political events or simply tells nonsense from everyday life. In 2015, he was runner-up in the Berlin-Brandenburg Poetry Slam Championship. In 2016, he was a semi-finalist in the German-language poetry slam championships in Stuttgart. Piet Weber is a founding member of the reading stage Prunk & Prosa, which performs monthly at the UFA-Fabrik in Berlin.
