The legendary guitarist and global star Carlos Santana has just announced his new tour. The musician will be visiting Cologne's LANXESS arena as part of the "Oneness Tour 2025". With iconic songs such as "Smooth", "Black Magic Woman" and "Oye Como Va", Santana has written music history and thrilled fans worldwide for generations. They can look forward to an unforgettable evening in 2025. On 08.08.2025, Santana will be making a guest appearance at the LANXESS arena for an NRW-exclusive show.

For more than six decades, Carlos Santana has been inspiring audiences with his visionary creativity, which combines musical genres and transcends cultural and geographical boundaries. The 10-time Grammy winner Santana is coming to Germany in summer 2025.

On his "Oneness Tour", Carlos Santana celebrates the songs of his 60-year career, including milestones and fan favorites from "Abraxas" to "Supernatural" and many more. Carlos Santana has had a top hit in the international charts in every decade.

Carlos Santana's success really has nothing to do with supernatural powers or black magic, despite megahits such as "Black Magic Woman" or "Supernatural". The unique career of the exceptional Mexican-born artist, who conjures up Latin rock from his guitar, has already spanned five turbulent decades. With his ingenious style and unmistakable sound, Carlos Santana belongs to an illustrious circle of rock virtuosos whose popularity has defied changing times and fashions.

Albums such as "Santana", "Abraxas", and Woodstock to "Supernatural" or "Ultimate Santana" with a total circulation of well over 100 million span an arc from Woodstock to the present day. Santana's fascination as a unique live act has been experienced by a record-breaking 100 million viewers. They are a congenial fusion of different musical styles, captivating audiences with their fusion of pop, rock, Latin, jazz and soul.

Born in 1947 in the Mexican village of Autlan de Navarro, Carlos Santana has repeatedly set important accents in the course of his remarkable career. Carlos was introduced to traditional Mexican folklore at the age of five by his father José, a mariachi violinist. His real musical history began when he moved to the border town of Tijuana. There he discovered his passion for the guitar, inspired by BB King, John Lee Hooker and T-Bone Walker, and his love of rock music.

In 1961, Carlos moved to San Francisco, the cultural center of the USA in the 1960s. The influential local music scene captured him and in 1966 the Santana blues band made its debut in the capital of the hippie movement. The legend and success of Woodstock are closely linked to Santana, who made their big breakthrough at this festival that changed the world. Anthems like "Evil Ways",
"Oye Como Va" and "Black Magic Woman" date from this heyday. They shaped the consciousness of fans until supernatural hits such as "Maria, Maria", "Smooth" and "Corazon Espinado" ushered in a grandiose Santana revival. Up to this point, Santana were already considered heroes of the rock era, but with Supernatural they defined a new dimension of success that was hardly thought possible, which was documented in almost 30 million albums sold.

"When you go to a Santana concert, something miraculous happens," explains Carlos Santana. "On stage with this band, I feel like a twenty-year-old and we give all our energy to every song."

Santana performances are passionate celebrations of Latin music, in which South American joie de vivre and rhythms merge with blues and rock.
