Rosa Brunello

Rosa Brunello is an Italian bassist and composer whose music ranges from free improvisation to electro-rock, dub and South American music. She likes to mix acoustic and electronic sounds to overcome the boundaries between genres and live up to the motto "music without borders". In addition to collaborations with artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Maurice Louca, Yazz Ahmed, Tommaso Cappellato, Tamar Osborn and others, she developed her own musical style while studying in Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam and performing around the globe. Her own project, together with most of these close collaborators, made waves in 2022 with the release of Sounds Like Freedom. Two years later, her band's hypnotic, dubby jazz sound returned with her follow-up album Senseless Acts of Love on LA-based label Domanda Music.
