Die Drahtzieher, a trio from Ravensburg, combine the influences of three experienced gypsy jazz musicians and offer an unmistakable sound. With numerous engagements with renowned artists of the genre, they bring new sound colors and styles to gypsy jazz. Their imaginative arrangements allow the instruments to interact at eye level, resulting in complex, chamber music moments that still retain the spirit of gypsy swing. This mixture is reflected in an emotional range that extends from deep melancholy to fiery temperament. In concert, the wire-pullers create a unique live experience by combining innovative original compositions with selected gypsy jazz classics.
