In March 2023, the Berlin indie rapper "Ritter Lean" entered the German music scene with his first single "Einsame Insel" and has been inspiring indie Germany with his relentless lyrics and unmistakable energy ever since. 1.5 years later, he has enjoyed one success after another: three released EPs, support act for Ski Aggu in front of around 50,000 spectators and a sold-out tour are just some of the impressive milestones in Ritter Lean's still young musical career.
In keeping with the spirit of the times, the musician eschews fixed genres and creates an unmistakable feeling in each of his songs. Sometimes with pop party songs, sometimes with unsparing love songs, Ritter Lean always shows himself to be genuine and vulnerable. It is precisely this ambivalent choice of topics that fans love so much about Ritter Lean. The feeling he wants to convey when listening to his music is: "a good mood, dancing and freaking out and occasionally just thinking or being sad". He finds a language for his stories that is unprecedented in German indie pop: dirty and raw, but honest and unafraid to provoke.
