In this documentary piece, life becomes a permanent theme. FUTUR4 by Rimini Protokoll reimagines the future of a biography, performance by performance. The protagonist Ursula Gärtner and her family were bought out of Romania by the Federal Republic of Germany at the beginning of the 1970s: "Without a receipt", without an option to return. As one of thousands of Transylvanian citizens in Saxony, disconnected from her own history. With what ideas about their future? FUTUR4 looks ahead. What can, what does the next generation want to know? How will they relate to what was? While the protagonist's son deals with AI, the audience experiences science fiction in the moment of its production. Using the means of science and theater, they can inscribe themselves into the protagonist's life. What is science fiction if it is not thought of in terms of rockets and other planets - but in terms of other concepts of being human?
