In the organizer's words:

As part of the exhibition 'Ressource, Research, Reset - Architectural Transformation of Sacred Spaces' with the Chair of Design at TUM, we cordially invite you to the first talk in the three-part series, this time with Prof. Per Pedersen and the focus on 'Reset'.

Per Pedersen (*1963 in Thisted, Denmark) is a graduate architect, studied in Buffalo (USA) and Aarhus (Denmark) and was a research assistant at the UDK Berlin from 2001 to 2007. He has worked at Staab Architekten since 1996, where he has been responsible for numerous projects as a partner and managing director, including the Neue Galerie Kassel and the Richard Wagner Museum Bayreuth. In 2016/17 he was a deputy professor at the University of Kassel and is currently Professor of Design and Building in Existing Contexts at BTU Cottbus.

The exhibition is dedicated to the future of sacred spaces and presents innovative utilization concepts to preserve them as places for society. The discussion will shed light on the significance of the architectural and cultural substance of church spaces and the need to research their historical and structural aspects.

We look forward to seeing you there!

A project in cooperation with the Chair of Design at TUM.

With the kind support of the Verein Ausstellungshaus für christliche Kunst e.V., Munich.
