Reparier mit uns: Swiss Darning

Workshop

We want to show you different techniques with which you can repair your clothes by hand. We will start with Swiss Darning.

This method is particularly suitable for knitwear as we imitate the knitting stitches. Do you have knitted socks, cuffs or a favorite knitted sweater that have a few holes or thin spots? With Swiss Darning, we can repair them and make them wearable again. You can use matching colored yarn for an invisible repair or add a nice accent with contrasting yarn.

Registration is not necessary.
You are welcome to bring your own knitted item that you would like to repair.
