@remixalmanya is rewriting the history of hip hop. Murat Güngör and Hannes Loh bury "Deutschrap" and examine the country's biggest pop culture as the first post-migrant phenomenon that changed Germany forever.

With a feel for the scene and a critical view of politics and society, together they trace the astonishing development of so-called guest workers into rap stars - along historical upheavals, racism and empowerment against all odds.
