REDCHILD AND THE WISDOM "STREET POETRY AND IMPROVISED JAZZ HIPHOP"

The magic of the moment... that's what this evening is all about. 5 musicians come together to pursue their love of improvised live hiphop.

REDCHILD is releasing another solo album this year as an MC and singer, has his own session series with MO' JAMS and moves playfully between the most diverse musical genres as a presenter for nationwide dance battles or as the leading actor in the musical HAMILTON.

LUKE O'MALLEY is originally from New York, but has lived in Hamburg for several years. For several years, he was a key member of ANTIBALAS, probably one of the most important Afrobeat bands of the moment. He also recently worked as a guitarist with the band THE ROOTS on Jimmy Fellon's world-famous late night show.

TORSTEN "HAZE" HAAS has been the bassist and musical director of SAMY DELUXE for years and has played as a bassist and sideman for FREUNDESKREIS and JOY DENALANE. He can currently be seen most often with the band THE MIGHTY WINTERSCHEIDTS on Joko Winterscheidt's late night show.

Keyboardist SIMON GREY is currently working hard on the release of his solo album and is also frequently on the road with the NUHUSSLE ORCHESTRA. In the past, he has played keys for INCOGNITO, DEODATO and the NDR BIGBAND, making him one of the most sought-after keyboardists in the country.

Drummer UWE BERWANGER is the founder and bandleader of the RUFFCATS and has been musical director and drummer for some of the country's biggest pop acts for years. All these references and qualities come together when the moment is left in control on this evening.
