Fabio stands for soulful, deep drum'n'bass with soul, fully aware of his influences from jazz, funk and jungle. His style has evolved across various genres, from dub, rare groove, hip-hop, early house and jungle to drum'n'bass.

At the end of the 80s, when acid house dominated the British rave scene, two names were at the forefront and on every flyer: Fabio and Grooverider. A little later, British hardcore was born, from which jungle developed, which in turn laid the foundations for drum'n'bass. Today, DJ Fabio and Grooverider are considered the forefathers of the genre. Their club night "Rage" in London's legendary Heaven is often referred to as the birth of jungle. When the jungle scene died down and the sound and style changed significantly, Fabio founded London's first drum'n'bass night, "Speed", which was dedicated to a soulful, funky and jazzy sound. Fabio also established his own drum'n'bass genre on his BBC Radio 1 show "Liquid Funk".

While the two have caused a sensation in recent years with their project "Outlook Orchestra", Fabio has also launched the club night TRIBE. Now he is coming to Berlin for the first time.

Fabio will be joined by none other than Rob 'Dogger' Smith, who stands for liquid drum'n'bass with a lot of soul and is influenced by artists such as Calibre and Marcus Intalex. Dogger has made an absolute lightning start and achieved in a very short time what others need decades for. It all began with his first releases on Alex Perez's 1985 Music imprint. This was followed by releases on V Recordings, Shogun Audio, The North Quarter and finally his own label Precinct.
