Rattelschneck und Seethaler: Trotteln

In the organizer's words:

A unique mixture of pub humor, bizarre e-mails and lots of absurd humor - Rattelschneck and Seethaler on their joint book experiment in the taz Talk at the Leipzig Book Fair.

The story takes its course in a Kreuzberg pub: a writer and an illustrator sketch rabbits, camels and each other on beer mats. What begins as a fleeting idea grows into a month-long e-mail exchange in which all seriousness is consistently left out.

Trotteln - a taz Talk in the taz Studio at the Leipzig Book Fair with:

🐾 Rattelschneck is an illustrator-writer duo. The two have received various awards, works, exhibitions and regular publications in Titanic, Süddeutsche Zeitung, junge Welt and taz. One half of this duo is Marcus Weimer.

🐾 Robert Seethaler is a celebrated writer whose works have won numerous awards. His books have been translated into over 40 languages. His novel "Ein ganzes Leben" was shortlisted for the International Booker Prize. He lives in Berlin and Vienna.

🐾 Andreas Rüttenauer moderates this taz Talk. He is a journalist and writes about sport for the taz, among other things.
