Stephanie Wetzold-Schubert and Anita Wieczorek use different printing techniques and share a fascination for detail and transience in the depiction of their environment. Stephanie Wetzold-Schubert shows nature in its abundance, beauty and perfection with the help of many media, with print, acrylic and collage, in order to point out its vulnerability. Anita Wieczorek works in the technique of the "lost plate" in woodcut and linocut, reducing forms and colors to make the essential, inconspicuous and familiar visible.

Day of printmaking at Friedrich7:
On 15.03.2025 - the International Day of Printmaking - and Sunday, 16.03.2025, Anita Wieczorek and Marc Bühren will be on site from 12-6 pm. Marc Bühren will introduce the Cologne "Open Press Project" in a partial presentation. This worldwide project makes printmaking accessible to "everyone" (printing press from the 3D printer) and regularly organizes an international "Print Exchange" with national and international exhibitions of the submitted works. Printing techniques can be tried out on these two days.
