THE PRINCIPLES OF JOY play deep, intense and energetic soul music inspired by 70s soul, mixing deep soul, high-energy northern soul tracks and psychedelic influences. They consist of 6 musicians, led by front woman Rachel Yarabou, whose voice is in the tradition of the great soul divas. They have been touring regularly since their formation and have received fantastic feedback from audiences and organizers at all their gigs.
