(18-piece - Salsa & Latin Jazz Bigband )

On June 27, 2025 at 8 pm, shortly before the end of the summer break, a special concert by the PRIMERA DIVERSIÓN Salsa & Latin Jazz Bigband awaits you at BIRDLAND Hamburg. The 18-piece formation will present a two-part program that promises a very special musical experience for jazz lovers and salsa fans alike. The first set takes the audience on a journey of discovery through different musical worlds. Here PRIMERA DIVERSIÓN shows its jazz-oriented side and combines Latin American rhythms with elements of classical, folk and fusion/jazz rock. This creative combination brings together accents from different cultures and creates an exciting world of sound that blurs the boundaries between genres.
By the second set at the latest, even the last seat groover is torn from his chair: Cuban and Colombian salsa classics in a big band sound are absolutely danceable, and full of energy, PRIMERA DIVERSIÓN brings the attitude to life of Caribbean dance music directly to the stage - with rousing brass sections, a driving rhythm section and 3 Latin American vocal soloists, the evening ends with a dance party in an exuberant Latin party atmosphere. Whether you are a big band jazz fan or a salsa lover - this concert promises something for everyone.
