Train breakdowns, delays, arguments about the Deutschland-Ticket: anyone who wants to bash the railroads draws on daily mishaps. But you can also look at traveling with DB in a completely different way: No two trips are ever the same, and time and again the course switches to adventure. In "Bahn-Bingo - Geschichten, die ankommen", Mark Daniel collects quirky episodes, exciting encounters and the coolest announcements. There are also portraits of train staff and the invisible man who makes the station announcements throughout Germany. The author takes his readers on board in his usual humorous and pointed manner. And of course: Witten also plays a role in this book!
As always, the book premiere on March 22, 2025 will take place together with guitarist and singerDirk Kiffmeier.
Mark Daniel, born in 1967, grew up in Witten in Westphalia and studied theater, film and television studies in Bochum. This was followed in 2021 by the novel "Der weiße Song" (Edition Winterwork) and in 2023 by "Witten - ker, wat schön!", a literary hymn to his hometown.
