Prämiere: Veröffentlichung Kinderbuch "Freunde sind wir!" von Vera Bauer

Vera Bauer, born in Cologne, wanted to become an educator when she was in kindergarten, which she has now been for 23 years. Her own two children are young adults. In addition to being a freelance swimming instructor for infants and toddlers until they learn to swim, she will complete her training as a children's yoga teacher KYA in December 2023.

Since June 2011, she has worked for an organization as a "specialist for everyday integrated language." She has always been fascinated by children's books, and the idea of publishing her own children's book never really left her. "Freunde sind wir" is her first work. It came about through her work in an integrative daycare center, two children from her group and her training as a KYA.

She has also been learning to play the piano for 14 years. The first animal in the book, the butterfly, was composed for her birthday by Markus W. Kropp. This gave her the idea to give all seven other animals a special musical character.
