Poetry Jam - Where words jam and rhythm connects!
A new creative space for poetry and music in Cologne: the Poetry Jam combines spoken word with live music - without fixed line-ups, but with lots of energy.
A unique, experimental space is created here, where words and sounds merge and the Salon de Jazz in Cologne becomes a stage for everyone who wants to share their thoughts, texts and verses every last Friday of the month.
For the first time on Friday, March 28, 2025, the space will open up for courageous voices and open ears. Each performance will be accompanied by a trio of piano, bass and drums, who will intuitively take up the words and interpret them musically live - not just in the background, but as an equal part of the experience.
Whether experienced stage poets or curious listeners - what counts here is not perfection, but expression, experimentation and exchange.
Everyone is welcome to share thoughts and texts in any language and create new worlds of sound together with the music.
