A warm invitation to the Living Advent Calendar

Over the past two years, we have invited citizens from Schildesche and beyond to come together at various locations to design old chairs that they have brought or provided. We have embroidered, painted, sprayed or glued - over 60 unique chairs for young and old have been created. During the Advent season, citizens, initiatives, associations and communities place 24 of the designed chairs in front of their doors. Behind each chair is an activity to take a seat, meet and get together.

Come along and take a seat. No previous experience is required for the individual events. If you have any special needs or concerns, please let us know. Let yourself be enchanted by the places and their respective free events:
