40 million years after the extinction of mankind, humanoid beings look back on the 21st century with archaeological curiosity: They reconstruct the showdown of Homo sapiens. Individual representatives of various species competed in a gigantic reality survival show in the mass extinction of species. Humanity was represented by Boris Baumann, an insurance salesman from Bremen. Boris didn't have it easy in his fight against the panda, chicken, ant, bat, fox and crocodile ...

Israeli director and author Yael Ronen regularly develops analytically precise, highly entertaining contemporary drama. Under the direction of Cilli Drexel, a new production with a live band is coming to the stage in Heidelberg - an equally touching, bizarre and stirring play on the ongoing climate change.

"Planet B" is a new play.

One human and six animals play to see who survives.
The animals are a panda, a bat, an ant, a fox, a crocodile and a chicken.
The audience are aliens from the future.
The play is about climate change.
There is music, songs and a band in the play.
The play is funny and sad at the same time.

On 15 December and 20 December 2024, there will be an introduction and a program in simple language.
After the performances there will be a discussion about the play.
