Phil Siemers: Was wenn doch - Tour 2025

What Phil Siemers brings to the stage with his band and, for the first time last year, solo, is some of the highest quality that popular, handmade music from Germany has to offer. What he does breathes groove and nonchalance; his voice nestles smoothly between the heart and stomach and the atmosphere literally crackles with presence and sensuality.

"Was wenn doch" is the 32-year-old songwriter's third album and was crowdfunded within 12 days: it is a self-confident, organic album. In addition to the title track "Was wenn doch", its musical arc includes thought-provoking songs such as "Mila & Juri" (release date: 07.03.25), which looks at war and dreams of the future from the eyes of a child and sets the tone with a cinematic string intro, "Bring mich nach Hause" (release date: 11.04.25), a duet with Berlin musician Lisa Marie Neumann, also known as LOUKA, and "100 Meter" with its strikingly raw guitar sound. It is also his remarkable stylistic confidence that allows Phil Siemers this range.
