Guests from Syria and Belarus talk about their exile in Germany

One day before International Women's Day on March 8, we will address the specific situation of women in exile. We will be hosting two exiled activists from Belarus and Syria who will talk about their current experiences of flight, migration and exile. Our guests will talk about their reasons for fleeing, Germany as a country of exile and their experiences as political exiles. The discussion will focus on their specific experiences as women and the role of gender with regard to return, activism and political engagement.
