Peppa feiert Karneval

Alaaf!!! The whole town is in carnival fever. Even Peppa takes a hibernation break and joins in the celebrations! But how should she dress up? As a pirate! Or would she rather be a princess? How good that there are several carnival days...
In the cozy studio theater of the Alte Wursterei in Cologne-Ehrenfeld, children from the age of 3 can attend a performance together with their parents or grandparents. The performances last half an hour. After the performance, visitors pay an exit fee depending on their own financial means. Afterwards, the rustic courtyard invites you to linger. Children get a free drink. And anyone who wants to can paint a picture or write a letter to Peppa.
With homemade Berliners, delicious bratwurst, cocoa and lemonade, it's a good time to smile.
"Peppa celebrates carnival" is one of seven productions for young audiences. The non-verbal dance theater pieces use dance, clowning and music to tell stories on topics from the children's world of experience. They are characterized by subtle play, versatile movement vocabulary and sensitive interaction. The productions transcend linguistic and cultural barriers to create emotional experiences without words. They stimulate the children's imagination, their own desire to play and create and the (also verbal) exchange between them. Since 2018, Peppa has been touring nurseries in Cologne, the surrounding area and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and can also be seen at the Alte Wursterei. She has already reached more than 10,000 young viewers.
