Since Paul Plut gave his first sign of life as a solo artist in 2016 with the death march "Lärche", gloom has doggedly dogged his heels. While his last two albums were dedicated to death ("Lieder vom Tanzen und Sterben") and his Styrian hometown ("Ramsau am Dachstein nach der Apokalypse"), this time the afterlife can be found elsewhere. In his "Herbarium" (2024), Paul Plut brings together ten songs and fragments that revolve around man-made horror, collective shock and the quiet premonition that something big is about to collapse.
