On October 12, "Latin America Rebelde" celebrates the resistance of the indigenous peoples of Abya Yala and Wallmapu (called America). For more than 500 years, they have managed to maintain their customs, languages and worldviews and every year on October 12, the rebels celebrate the resistance.
The pre-Columbian peoples thanked Mother Earth (Pachamama) for every battle they won with dances and carnivals. That is why we will continue to dance on October 12, 2024 out of respect for the Pachamama and her resources. Here we dance and resist with the joyful rebellion.
