Own It! Skate-Festival

In the organizer's words:

The "Own It!" skate festival is back! In 2024, we want to continue the skate festival that was launched last year in front of the Schauspielhaus, which was created in cooperation with Titus Düsseldorf and the Eller skate park. On September 14 from 10 a.m., you can once again experience a piece of skateboard subculture, lots of music and exciting contests on Gustaf-Gründgens-Platz.

The skate festival is a festival for everyone and every age group: whether you're a complete beginner or a professional skater. The successful concept from last year, consisting of high-level skateboarding, the finest music and lots of fun, will be built on and this year there will be an additional focus on beginners. The Stadtsportbund will be on site with skateboard trainers and rental equipment. The festival will also be supported by Skate-Aid, who will be bringing along a portable mini-ramp and will be on hand to help and advise all skateboarding newbies.

We have also gained another strong partner in Volcom: Volcom will be on site with a screen printing machine. Print caps, bags or shirts - it's all free of charge. Also on site: a skateable obstacle ramp from Volcom and the Volcom team riders.

The festival will be accompanied by music from live DJ duo Kanuma Sound and rapper Fillie. True to the motto "Feel the ride and the sound": come along, join in, watch and experience what makes skateboarding and music so unique.
