It was to be a musical play about a band, but also one that dealt with the local history of Nuremberg in an entertaining way: In-house author Philipp Löhle set about researching band stories and, above all, world and music events in the 70s and 80s. In combination with comedy specialist Christian Brey, the result is an evening of live music that takes a look back at the wild era of the KOMM in Nuremberg and celebrates a zeitgeist in which rock music was also linked to an attitude to life. In the form of a mock documentary, the audience not only learns something about the unjustly unknown Franconian band "Orbit", but also travels together through two decades of changeable history of the Federal Republic of Germany, with evergreens and band myths that outlast every era.
