Open Mic Lesebühne Thema: Desasterdates

In the organizer's words:

Bestselling author Jenny-Mai Nuyen and film director Aron Craemer present the 4th Open Mic competition for autobiographical stories.

This time: Many of us are searching. For love, sex, partnership. Or a combination of all three. No one has explained to us how not to make a fool of ourselves in the process. When everything seems to be going well, the disaster ends up being even worse.

But you can turn things around! Turn your dating disaster into a short story, send it to us at: desasteropenmic@gmail.com Read it out on our stage on March 8th and reap the rewards of fame, desire and - maybe - love.

Your story should not have more than 2200 words, otherwise (almost) anything is allowed.

Please also write us a title and a sentence about the content. We will then put both on our evening menu and the audience will decide which five stories will be presented by their authors that evening. The winner is chosen democratically and receives prize money (one third of the entrance fee)

And if you've never had a disastrous date? Then learn from the disasters of others so that it stays that way.
