In his journey through German love poetry from the Middle Ages to the 20th century, Bert Oberdorfer unfolds a panorama of the feelings that play a role in the eternal cycle of falling in love, loving and falling out of love: The texts speak of excitement and enthusiasm as well as disappointment and remembrance. A special feature of the evening is that Bert Oberdorfer not only recites the poems of famous German-language writers, but also performs them in rare settings.
